Security standards

It is one of our major goals to ensure maximum security of our Cirrus SAP Cloud Computing Solution.

The applied security standards comply on all levels (physical security, cloud security – network security) with the highest requirements and are guaranteed by using state of the art technologies.

Standard network policy

To protect your cloud platform from intruders, we automatically implement a standard personal firewall to each SAP system. Our standard network policy includes all SAP specifical network settings and can be adjusted if required without problems and free of cost. We use only state of the art products from Cisco and Checkpoint.

Advanced network policy

To provide for additional security we also offer the possibility to operate the entire network communication from and to the Cloud platform with secure network communication (SNC). To enable this kind of communication a SAProuter will be installed by default with every new Cloud system. The necessary small adjustments can be easily customized by a network specialist (inhouse or from our support) before going on line.

Platform access

Access through network (Internet) occurs via an integrated firewall that can be managed customer specificly.

The standard security configuration allows three different possibilities to access the platforms:

access via SAPGui
access via Web browser (for SAP Web services)
access through the operating system
