The costs of our SAP cloud platforms are composed – as stated in the general pricing section – of

• cost for platform creation (initial, non recurring fee)
• cost for computing infrastructure (accumulated hourly costs).

Costs per unit in status “power on” vary according to the planned utilization of the system. You can choose between 3 different cost allocation models for discriminative usage.

• Low use: recommended for platform use until 500 hours “power on”. This model is characterized by a low initial fee per platform creation and normal running cost per hour.
• Average use: recommended for the range of 500 – 3000 hours „power on”. This middle course is characterized by lower running cost per hour but a medium initial fee (an additional annual fee of US$150 occurs).
• Frequent use: recommended for more than 3‘000 hours „power on“. This model features even lower running cost per unit but an additional annual fee of US$ 650 to the normal initial fee.

Please employ the calculator every time you evaluate a new platform and its cost. By doing so, you get a suggestion for the optimal pricing model. During the creation of a new platform you can decide which model you prefer, depending on the calculator’s result for the most convenient model for your respective usage needs. You have the possibility to upgrade your model at any time. (Downgrade is excluded).
