2 types of non business critical systems

We differentiate between two types of non business critical systems:

SAP systems that are integrated with the productive system landscape and which have a permanent static network connection at disposal (interconnected system).
SAP systems without a direct network connection to other - business critical or non business critical - systems (stand alone).

For the former the systems will be set at customer's exclusive disposal in a private cloud. Data link to the customer's system landscape will be established with a secure network connection. In this trusted set up you have the possibility to process sensitive data.

In the second scenario the systems are via Internet connection at customer's disposal in the public cloud.
